Cut Out Background Web Traffic
Bandwidth is one of the most important factors in streaming video. Other devices connected to the same network may be cutting into your streaming bandwidth with other downloads or background updates. Try limiting web traffic on other devices you aren’t currently using to improve speeds.
Create A Larger Buffer
Simply pause the video to give the software enough space to stream the video smoothly. A few seconds can do wonders for the video performance.
Restart Your Home Network
- Turn off the device you are streaming the video on and disconnect it from power.
- Unplug your modem/router. (Keep disconnected from power for 30 seconds.)
- Plug in your modem/router and wait for the indicator lights to return back to their normal, functioning state.
- Restart your streaming device and try streaming Brain, Heart, World again.
Improve Your WiFi Signal
- Move your modem/router to a new location to improve your signal strength to your device.
- A router in a high position with clear line of sight will produce a stronger signal than a router on placed behind or under furniture.
